My first time

I have been inspired to start a blog after viewing Cindy's at My Romantic Home. Cindy, I love to see your pictures and to read about you - we sound very alike, especially the "I wants"!



I lived in the Bay Area for 15 years, and am now in Texas. I miss California so much, and I would love to move back. I transferred down here with my job, and am now unemployed which is very stressful.



I live in a small house with a giant yard. It's just me and my 2 cats, Patrick and Katie Scarlett. My dacshund Emma and my Rottweiler Beauregard. I watch way too much HGTV and all the other design shows and I'm always trying to get my house just right.



I had an antique business for a while but it got to be too hard, physically, so I gave it up and still have "inventory"! Which means my guest room and my garage are full of stuff!



I look forward to meeting lots of new and interested friends and sharing thoughts, pictures and just life in general.
